My wardrobe during winter was grey, black, camo, and touches of blush on repeat! More recently I’m adoring all the floral prints that are making a big splash with major retailers and small boutiques. It’s such a girly trend but you can also find tropical prints such as a palm print that doesn’t feel as girly. My dress is from one of my favorite online retailers, Jane.com and I highly recommend shopping/checking out the site. It’s a favorite of mine for finding trendy clothing, house hold items, kid gear, gifts, and more at a discount price. This blue cold shoulder floral dress was from Jane.com for only $34.99! I recently had a girls night out so I threw it on with some booties and tassel earrings to dress it up a bit! The floral trend is so easy to take from day to night making it super versatile! My dress was sold out but I linked a bunch of my favorite floral finds at the bottom of this post! I’m obsessed with the floral wrap dress linked and the Ted Baker clutch is so beautiful! Hope everyone had a lovely Easter! xx
Happy Tuesday y’all! It’s officially spring (YAY!) but it still feels like winter in the Bay Area! It’s currently raining and cold outside but I’m not complaining! Okay (eh um) maybe a little…only because I’m sooo ready for sunshine and bike rides. With the weather changing it’s a great time to add a few spring pieces to the family wardrobe! GAP is having 40% off today using code – TODAY. So I did a quick roundup with a few of my favorites for the family! One of the items I bought (I know I’ll wear it constantly) was the grey tie waste shirt, and I love the Panama hats from GAP because they hold up well and are super affordable! My favorite kid pick is a toss-up between the donut pajamas (btw I want to eat a donut now) and those boho-tassel sandals! So adorable! I only wish the donut pajamas came in my size so I could match my mini’s! Happy shopping.
Happy Saturday y’all! Lazy mornings, donuts and milk, bike rides, soccer games, BBQ parties…these are a few of my favorite weekend things. We love the weekends for plenty of reasons but one of my favorite reasons is being able to sleep in and cuddle with my little loves. It’s usually between 6-7am when I hear their little feet running towards our bedroom and they quickly climb into my arms to fall back asleep. It’s seriously the best part of my day, and I’ve sadly realized it’s starting to stop with my eldest. My daughter found her love of reading and while I’m thrilled with her passion for reading, she has begun to skip morning cuddle time to read instead! I know I should be so proud, but if you’re a Mom or Dad, you know losing the morning cuddle time is heartbreaking! Thankfully she still comes in bed some mornings but the reality is.. she is growing up so fast! My 4-year old still comes in bed every morning. He wraps his little body around mine and when he finally wakes up the first thing he says to me is “Mommy, I love you”. It’s the sweetest start to my day.
Since weekends are jam-packed with kid activities, I love easy Weekend Wear, and this off the should sweatshirt is so soft and comfy. Paired with distressed jeans and comfortable booties it’s perfect for running around town. I also throw it on with black leggings and a beanie or baseball hat, it’s super versatile and cute! This is the true mom look. Simple Weekend Wear, easy hair, and no makeup! Grab my Weekend sweatshirt (on sale) here for only $16.
Happy February 1st everyone! It’s officially the month of LOVE! This weekend we’ve got a fun Valentine’s Day DIY project that anyone can do, so stay tuned. Although I’ve been gravitating towards gray, black, leather, and denim all winter…I do love wearing pastels during these months because it always feels fresh and bright. Paired with duck boots (or really any boot) and a cute beanie you can easily include these colors in your winter wardrobe. If you still love the blush trend like me check out my cozy knit. The sweater fits loose and slouchy and has a cute lace-up detail on the back. I like that it’s not too bulky and at $19 you can’t go wrong! You can shop the rest of my look below, including my favorite winter beanie! I think I own this brand in 6 shades because they are so affordable, wash well, and go with everything!
Half of my pictures from fashion shoots look like this last picture above. I’m sorta in between movements and a bit awkward, so I had to share the reality of shooting as a blogger! It’s pretty funny really, but it’s more about the fashion than me! I’ve been thinking a post full of my funny outtakes might make y’all laugh, especially the ones with my kids! xx
Stay on trend this New Years and embrace your girlie glam side! Nothing screams “Belle of the Ball” like a blush tulle maxi paired with a gorgeous sequins top. I adore this look, but you don’t have to shop this exact look. I often take inspiration from an outfit that one of my favorite bloggers or brands style and then put my own twist on it. One of my 2017 goals for a glaMoMorous life is to show readers how to do this as well. How to use what you have in your closet to embrace a trend rather than buying everything. To my readers that prefer direct shopping links..DON’T WORRY!! I’ll still have lots of shoppable posts because I know many of you prefer the ease of seeing an outfit and being able to click and buy. For my ladies who like getting a little inspo and then trying to recreate a look, this is actually easier to recreate than you think! Let’s talk it out. If you have a long maxi skirt in a solid color (doesn’t need to be tulle) then you’re half way there. Odds are you might own a gold, black, or silver sequins top (these colors go with everything). Tuck it in to accentuate your waist (if needed use spanx to keep it tight). Boom! You’re now the “Belle of the Ball”! Simple heels and a little red lipstick will up your glam factor! Note – If you don’t have a sequins top and want to try and grab one at the last minute, H&M, Forever 21, Zara, and Charlotte Russe (yes I typed that, ya know my love of mixing high and low) are your best bet for finding one quickly!
2016 was a remarkable year! As I sit here, pondering my top 5 favorite moments to share, I realize it’s so hard to list just 5! However, for the sake of y’all, I will refrain from listing 100 favorite moments because well.. that’s just a bit ridiculous. So, in no particular order here are some of my favorite memories to share. I should mention that at first every moment was about my children, lol, but I decided I could incorporate a few others.
The moment my 6-year-old daughter started reading. I don’t mean putting a few words/sentences together, I’m talking full blown reading chapter books! I get so much joy out of hearing her read, and seeing the love she has for books. It’s an amazing mommy moment.
Watching my 3-year-old (now 4) son ski down the bunny hill without an ounce of fear. He was so tiny, all bundled up, wearing a big smile, blazing down the hill!
Celebrating my parents 40th anniversary. My mother and father are two of the most selfless, hard-working, loving individuals I know. They have been my greatest example of marriage, love, communication, and commitment. I am beyond blessed to have them as parents and grandparents to my children. Celebrating their 40th was a magical moment.
My blog! I started this as a hobby and outlet as a stay at home mom. I’ve pushed myself more than ever in 2016 and the hard work is paying off with more opportunities, brand collaborations, and recognition! I can’t wait for 2017!
If you follow my Instagram account then you know that we brought home our french bulldog fur baby, King Louis, in May of this year! We are over-the-moon in love and obsessed with our new family member. He brings us so much joy and truly completes our family!
Wishing y’all beautiful moments, treasured memories, and all the blessings a heart can know! Happy New Year! Blogger Note –> Of course on the day of shooting this beautiful look it was soooo sunny, so we ended up shooting in two different spots! Our second spot proved to have much better lighting!
