Entertain in style with some fun decor ideas from today’s roundup (almost all items are on sale). Target always has a great selection of melamine dishes and I love these outdoor lights, which bring a whimsical touch as you enjoy the outdoors at nighttime. For music lovers the UE Portable Waterproof Speaker is a great find (link below). It’s so small that we take it on all our vacations, and never miss out on having our favorite tunes. Shop the entire roundup below, and snag yourself the flamingo floaty before it’s sold out!

Off the shoulder blouses – Under $100

We just returned from a 3 day getaway to Tahoe for the kids spring break. Something about the mountains always brings me a sense of peace, even when I’m chasing my two toddlers around the pool. I can’t wait to go back.

Today’s Roundup is all about the off the shoulder top trend. One of my favorite bloggers Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere, released her first line of clothing and I’m pretty much obsessed with it all. Emily’s striped off the shoulder option below is a touch nautical and a touch Parisian. A denim option will go with everything, and the floral prints are great for spring. Everything is a $100 or less, and a few are on sale now!

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

VDAY_Roundup_2016

Valentine’s Day will be here soon. If you’re trying to find a gift or gifts in the next week, I’ve got you covered! Today’s roundup is for the ladies (friends, daughters, and you) in your life. Even the heart sweater will ship in 24 hours! Shop away, and maybe share with your significant other, if you know they get stumped for ideas.

One – I’m loving all the colored sunnies out these days, and what’s not to love about this blush option. Blush is the color of 2016!

Two For the girl who likes to wear her heart on her duffel bag. Adorable and a great gift for daughters.

Three Because a heart-shaped umbrella is just too cute.

Four This is a fantastic bottle of rose, and it’s not because Brad Pitt and Agelina Jolie released it from their estate in Provence. What does this couple not do? It’s beautiful in color, silky and light, while offering berry and citrus flavors. It’s the perfect bottle to share with a loved one, or your girlfriends. Check your local BevMo (sold out online), or other wine retailers.

Five You can’t go wrong with a classic Essie pink polish. This shade has been voted a fan favorite.

Six Give your home a little love. Hearts and arrows are playful and reminiscent of Valentine’s day, but without all the XOXO or Valentine’s Day love quotes. Great gift for any lady.

Seven This Valentino inspired heel is everywhere and would make the perfect gift for the shoe lover in your life. I really want to buy these for myself!

Eight “Love you to the moon and back”. This is one of my favorite quotes and I say it to my children all the time. I would buy the print only, then frame it myself to save money. How cute is this for a wall collage or your child’s room. The gold keeps it versatile and appropriate for just about anywhere in your home.

Nine Kate Spade is one of my favorite designers, and I love that she has a little fun with her earrings. Any girl who loves sweets, baking, or cupcakes would find these adorable and fun!

Ten Heart elbow patches with a nautical stripe..yes, please! Bonus- it’s on sale for $25. This will ship in 24 hours if you want to wear it before or on the actual holiday.

Eleven If you’ve ever been approached by a man looking completely lost in a lingerie store, don’t be freaked out. I feel for these guys. It’s stressful to pick something out, and who knows if she will like it. My advice –> Get a cute pair on undies or a set of lip gloss, and wrap it with a gift card. A woman knows what lingerie works best on her body. You could even shop together and pick something you both like! Bonus – if it’s really last-minute, buy the Victoria Secret E-Gift Card which will be emailed to the recipient the same day.

New Year – New You!

With the start of the New Year, it’s a good time to evaluate what worked for you last year, and what needs to be incorporated this year! Today’s roundup is focused on physical and mental health. I’m sharing 9 tips, some of which I embraced in 2015, and some that are on this year’s “live well” list!

New Year - New You!1. Skincare – I’ve found that my skin is drier than it was in my 20’s, and hydration plays an important role in keeping it healthy. This year, we spent New Years at home with the kids and some of our closest friends. After we put the kids to bed, we went crazy! We put on our pajamas, drank champagne, and wore hydrating facial masks. Don’t laugh, it was actually a great night. We (husbands required to participate) decided to test a few brands from Sephora, like Dr. JART, Sephora Brand, and Boscia. We loved the hydrating and skin rejuvenating results. Feeling inspired to make this part of our regular skincare, my girlfriend did a little research online and discovered that the Dermal Korea Collagen Masks are inexpensive and highly rated. Order a 16 combo pack here for less than $13.

2. Like many families, we’ve been incorporating kale in our diet for a few years now. The leafy green is jam-packed with nutrients. Smoothies, salads, and chips are great kale options. This year I want to give seaweed a go! I loved this article, discussing the benefits of seaweed and why we should incorporate it in our diets. I’m researching recipe’s and will be sure to share a few.

3. Water – Sometimes life get’s busy and we forget to drink enough water. Top rated, this stainless steel water bottle which is tempshield protected, will help me stay on top of my hydration whether it’s hot or cold outside.

4. Rich in vitamin C and great for your skin, lemons, are so easy to bring into your diet. Last year I started adding them to my water everyday and I could see a difference in my skin. It felt brighter and more balanced. My tip – Every morning, mix a gallon of water and the juice from 2-3 lemons. If it’s prepared, then chances are, you will drink it all.

5. Makeup is a beauty benefit that can make us feel good about ourselves (mental health). 2015 was the year for red lipstick, and I loved the throw back glamour. Mac’s Ruby Woo will still be in my rotation (Valentine’s day is near), but I love a natural lip as well. Also from Mac, Fleshpot is the perfect nude with a touch of pink, to help you put your best face forward.

6. Invest in some stylish workout gear. My theory – if you like wearing your workout gear, then you will probably workout more! Athleta is one of my favorite brands for performance, style, and affordability. These wine colored pants are currently on sale and super cute.

7. Clear the clutter and organize your life! I keep seeing and hearing about the book that changes your life, but have yet to read it. The International Bestseller, the life-changing magic of tidying up, will be at the top of my list for 2016. Read it with me!

8. My children are still little, but old enough to start learning the value of $$. This year we will embrace earning a small allowance. We will begin to teach the importance of saving, donating, and spending wisely.

9. As a busy mother, wife, and blogger, sometimes I don’t eat all my fruit and vegetables. I know that Dr. Oz would think this is a bad excuse, but I’m guessing some of you can relate. Last year I began to incorporate Vitamineral Green in my diet. The benefits are tremendous and I highly recommend the product.

With much excitement and growth surrounding aglaMoMorouslife, I’m thrilled to be bringing you more benefits this year. Coming soon will be an upgraded and more interactive website! Thank you for helping make 2015 a great year! Wishing you all a healthy and prosperous 2016!

Fall Favorites

Fall_RoundUp_2015It’s hard to believe that we are in mid-October and Fall seems to still be in hiding. Our neigboohood streets are beginning to show a glimpse of weather change, as the autumn colored leaves dance amongst the wind. It’s so beautiful during this time of year, and I find myself constantly snapping pictures of the kids playing in the leaves. With the weather finally changing, I’m looking forward to making hearty and warm meals, baking pies and cookies, and indulging in hot cocoa with the kids. Like many, I’m also ready to switch from sundresses to cozy layers! So, today’s roundup is a little fall inspiration for y’al! Showcasing some of this season’s biggest trends at a range of prices. Plaids, flares, maxi’s, and all kinds of boots are a great way to update your wardrobe.

One – My Rebecca Minkoff fringe bag has been a popular item on my Instagram, so I was excited about this smaller version. It’s the perfect size. Bonus – It comes in many colors!

Two – A colored floppy is so chic with a touch of boho. Try this navy option from one of my favorites.

Three –  I’m loving the muted grey, navy, and wine options with this jacket vest. It’s such a versatile piece for wearing over lightweight sweaters and jeans, or long dresses.

Four – At only $20 I love this Fall maxi dress. Pair it with a longer vest and booties! Short sleeve option here.

Five – Plaid button downs are here for another season. These are definitely a go-to for me! Love plaid from here too!

Six – Blanket scarves are another cheap and great way to update your fall wardrobe. Target currently has many great options to choose from.

Seven – Simple gold jewelry is always on my want list. SofiaKaman has the most beautiful jewelry. It’s a bit of an investment. Both whimsical and boho, it’s completely timeless so you won’t ever regret the splurge.

Eight (no longer available)- A great pair of retro sunnies makes any outfit. Here is a fabulous Ray-Ban option and love this Madewell pair as well.

Nine – High fashion says farewell to skinnies, but not this girl. I still adore my skinnies, but am very excited about the updated shape and fit for women’s jeans. If you only invest in a few trends this season, make one of them a great pair of flared jeans.

Ten (out of my budget but gorgeous) – FRINGE is an obsession for many. If like me, you can’t get enough of this 70’s trend, then you will love this more affordable option.

Eleven – Super cute and perfect with longer knits and leggings.
