Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday! It’s no secret I like a good deal and one of the fabulous brands that I partner with, Shein.com is having their 9 year anniversary and throwing a HALLOWEEN sale! Congrats on 9 years y’all! So, I rounded up a bunch of my favorite items that are marked down even more! I included all the regular “mom” staples, cozy sweaters, stripes, cold-shoulder, but also trends like velvet and long kimonos. Also someone please get the flamingo pajama set! Its adorable and I think it would be the cutest matching gift for a girls weekend! Happy shopping! I’ll be online all night if you have sizing questions! xx
H E L L O Fall!!! Team Kimbrough is so happy you’ve arrived and we are ready to eat anything and everything pumpkin related! So Sunday night I came down with a pretty bad fever/flu bug. Ugh, probably the only down fall to this time of year is the onset of flu season. I’m trying so hard to keep it from taking down the entire family because it’s a pretty nasty bug. That being said, I’ve been forced to lay in bed (eh um..when I can, still have to Mom all day) which has given me the opportunity to look up some yummy fall recipes. I’m looking forward to warm and hearty stews, casseroles, and lots of delicious baking! But that’s another post. Today is all about this Anthro-inspired Navy Embroidered Boho dress. I could pretty much buy everything at Anthropologie; the clothing, dishes, bedding, it’s all gorgeous. So, when I find a cute outfit that reminds me of something I’d purchase from Anthro for a fraction of the price, I get pretty excited to share it with my readers. This dress is just that! The heavier fabric will keep you warm in the coming months and the navy and red combo is perfect for transitioning to Fall. Navy and denim are everywhere! The embroidery detail on this dress is amazing, as it runs all the way down the super-cute exaggerated sleeves. It’s just the perfect fall dress with booties or boots! Snag it here for $36 and let your friends think it’s from Anthro…I won’t tell!
Last Friday, my daughter had a school function so Mike and I took Jack on a dinner date. It’s nice to have a little one on one time with each child. Jack, like millions of other toddlers is a picky eater, but I CAN’T WAIT for the day I can take him to sushi! He pretty much sticks to cheeseburgers, steak, rice or plain pasta! Thankfully, he eats his fruits and veggies but trying to give him anything exciting or new is just not happening right now. This limits the restaurants we can try, which drives the inner foodie in me nuts! I know, I know..patience Mommy, it will come. I’ll keep trying and hopefully one day he will get excited about new foods. Recently, I was able to bribe (yes bribe) him to eat salmon which resulted in gagging. He politely and so sweetly followed up his gagging with, “This is delicious Mom, but I don’t need anymore”. Lol, at least he tried it. Outfit dets –> Although burgundy and wine are everywhere, I’m still loving blush tones like this faux fur vest. Y’all know I like to mix high and low and always appreciate finding a good deal. My Calvin Klein faux fur vest was bought from Marshalls, but I’ve linked several other options. Shop these and the rest of my look at the end of the post!
( Photo bombed by a furry friend. Too cute! )
Happy Friday loves! This easy to wear dress is quickly becoming a favorite in my closet. One of the things I love most about this floral caftan is that it’s the perfect print for Spring, Summer, and Fall. You could easily throw on a leather jacket and lace up booties to transition the look for Fall. The floral makes it feminine but the cut keeps it a bit boho, which you know I love. I’m wearing an XS (you need to throw a slip under) and I recommend sizing down because like most caftan’s, it runs big. The belt synchs and defines the waist and the light weight fabric drapes perfectly against the body. Plus, it can be worn off the shoulder which is still one of fashion’s leading trends. It really is the perfect dress for all shapes and sizes! Grab it on sale for $30 here. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
It’s safe to say that plaid is this season’s “it” look. From clothing to blankets to tablewear you can find this trend just about anywhere and everywhere. Target’s recent Adam Lippes plaid collection was both affordable and stylish. If you didn’t have a chance to check the collection out, many pieces are on markdown now, so hurry! You could even snag yourself a container of mouthwash dressed in the popular print. Lol! While I love all the classic red, navy, and green plaids, bringing in an unexpected color combo, such as this blush sweater is a great addition to your wardrobe. The sweater can be worn year round, but paired with boots and layered over a chambray button down, it’s a pretty pastel winter look. I linked a few of my favorite pastel plaid’s for y’all to check out!

// This sweater option is the same designer and print as the one I’m wearing, but with a different cut. Paired with over the knee boots this look would be gorgeous //
// Lucky Brand always makes a great classic button down and this one is perfectly pastel. Pair it with a chunky scarf, fur vest, and boots, and you’ve transformed it to a winter look //
