Normally, when I work with fashion brands I feature their clothing and how to style a look, but for this post I want to share a bit about this savvy resort wear company, Vacay. If you don’t love packing for vacations or are unsure of what to bring, then this is going to be a game changer for you. A little background – Vacay was founded in 2014 by Elizabeth Hynes, former Merchandising Director at Banana Republic, so she knows what she is doing. Elizabeth had the idea of creating 5 piece collections that could be interchanged to create multiple looks. Basically the company helps you travel smarter and in style. Sounds brilliant right! The fabrics and colors in each collection cater towards certain types of travel destinations, but each collection could truly be worn anywhere, even intermixed for a summer at home. I’m wearing a red, white, and blue dress that can also convert to a long skirt from the Martinique Collection. The collection is inspired by the French Caribbean Island, Martinique, with pieces that resemble french style and sophistication. I absolutely adore this dress/skirt, the quality and movement of it is beautiful. To give you an idea, I shared two looks – casual as a skirt and dressed up as a dress! Check out the other amazing collections here (pieces sold individually as well) and take advantage of my 20% off discount today. Use code SCSUMERSTYLE. Wishing you all a safe and Happy 4th of July!
